A highly regarded marketing-communications professional and former journalist of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent whose extensive body of work has appeared in outlets including Entertainment Weekly, E! News, NBC News, ABC News, and more, Nina is a culturally savvy marketer, communications expert, brand strategist, writer, editor, and proven problem solver.
A graduate of both Cornell (B.A.) and Columbia Universities (M.A.), Nina is a proud daughter of Latino immigrants who combines her strategic mindset, deep expertise and data-driven outlook as a current member of Target Corp’s Merchandising team. There, she leads marketing and pipeline strategy in support of Target Accelerators, the Fortune 40 company's portfolio of retail accelerator programs and resources.
In her free time, Nina enjoys connecting with and serving her community. She is a long-standing mentor to area high school students through BestPrep, and is a serving member of the Women's Foundation of Minnesota Grantmaking Committee. connecting grants to events, leaders and communities working to advance gender and racial equity.
Nina also remains highly involved with the Cornell University community at-large, and is a longstanding member of the President's Council of Cornell Women (PCCW). As one of its members, Nina works with other highly accomplished alumnna to enhance the involvement of women students, faculty, staff and alumni as leaders within Cornell University.
Additionally, Nina also dedicates time to volunteering at her church and children's school.
In recognition of her deep committment to serving others within the Latinx community and beyond, she was named a LatinoLead 2024 Avanzando Liderazgo Program (ALP) fellow.
A proud mother of two young boys, whom she and her husband are raising as bilingual and multicultural global citizens, Nina resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
